Dr. Rene' Lavergne Dr. Rene' Lavergne is a Cajun from South Louisiana. He obtained an Animal Science Degree in 1986, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from LSU in 1990. Dr. Lavergne has been in Little Rock since 1991, and learned from other veterinarians and worked Emergency Medicine until 1997, when Westrock Animal Hospital was opened. Dr. Lavergne and his wife Dr. Sonya Lavergne have a son and daughter, three dogs, two pot bellied pigs, chickens, dove, quail, donkeys, goats, and miniature cows. He combines his experience and compassion to make the best medical decisions for your pets. Dr. Lavergne is an avid biker, outdoors man, gardener, and Cajun Chef.
